Mount Rushmore National Memorial. South Dakota. The Memorial is a huge statue cut out in the granite mountain. The construction took 12 years. The statue is showing four famous US presidents: George Washington (1732–1799), Thomase Jefferson (1743–1826), Theodor Roosevelt (1858–1919) a Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865). The memorial was finished in 1941. The statue is located in an altitude of 1745m.
